MIA leopard loafers

I just bought these great leopard loafers by MIA and the best part is I got them for $30 at TJ Maxx. You gotta love those bargain finds and you never know what you're going to find.
You can find them as well on Polyvore.com

Tylie Malibu Gypsy Bag

Im lovin this new boho chic bag by Tylie Malibu, specifically the Gypsy Carvan Sultan Cross Body and the Gypsy Caravan Messenger.

You'll be at your boho best with Tylie Malibu's Gypsy in tow. I love the laid-back appeal of its bead accents, and a major fan of the luxe, lushly textured leather. I love the python-print flap on the messenger adds just a little extra flash. Also the silver charms and beads on the strap add that boho chic flair I adore.
Tylie Malibu Gypsy Caravan Sultan Cross Body - $495
Tylie Malibu Gypsy Caravan Messenger - $805

...well you don't have to be on a boat these days to wear fab top siders. Sperry's makes the best color combos and of course my personal fave leopard top siders. In case you're wondering when and how to wear them...watch this great video below from two fashion bloggers wearing Sperry's on a first date.

Love My Bracelets

I thought I'd share a few of my favorite bracelets and an everyday staple of my style. If anyone knows me, they know that I wear a ton of bracelets on my right hand. I have a ton that I basically mix and match on a daily basis. The bracelets add a fun and color to all of my outfits.

I especially love getting any bracelets with the evil eye on them and stacking beaded bracelets. I mix and match metals, chunky, beaded, and band bracelets.

SOMM: a documentary about wine

SOMM Documentary Trailer 1 from Forgotten Man Films on Vimeo.

I stumbled across this trailer for a great doc that I would love to watch and it's all about my favorite past time, wine. Yes, I'd love to be a sommelier and I've heard that its a pretty gosh darn tough exam but after watching this, I didn't realize how tough! Check out the trailer....

Two years and six countries of filming.

Somm is the story of four sommeliers attempting to pass the prestigious Master Sommelier exam, a test with one of the lowest pass rates in the world. The exam covers literally anything having to do with the entire world of wine and that is just the beginning. Access to the Court Of Master Sommeliers has always been strictly regulated and cameras have never been allowed anywhere near the exam.... Until now. How much do you know about wine?

Sam Edelman for American Eagle...say whaat??

If you know me you know I pretty much only wear sandals and flats by three designers, Steve Madden, Dolce Vita, and Sam Edelman.

This spring you'll be able to shop one of my favorite designers, Sam Edelman at the mall at none other than American Eagle.Sam Edelmans fun chic styles will now be sold at a budget friendly price tag...loves it! Might I add that the spring styles are FAB and are the kid sister to Sam Edelman's higher priced pairs. They've got ballet flats to gladiators, to gorgeous wooden wedges.

Head to your local mall ASAP! Prices range from $39 - $49...not bad at all! xx

My Fave Beauty Products

Hi lovelies! I wanted to put a list together of my top beauty products. I've used a lot, researched a lot, through out a lot, and finally found my go to products. I've tried top of the line $$$ products to budget friendly products. I want people to share their findings with me, so I thought why not do the same.

Face Wash:
Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash - Pink Grapfruit
made from 100% naturally derived grapfruit extract + vitamin C
This powerful line of acne cleansers treats and helps prevent breakouts - and even blackheads - while eliminating oil and dirt without over-drying skin. It's such a pick-me-up, you'll forget it's a powerful acne cleanser. Until your acne's gone.
My review: What I love about this most is the smell. It smells so refreshing and I love washing my face at the end of the day. It not only cleans but it also exfoliates. I have sensitive skin, so I've tried everything from Clinique, Kiel's, Perricone, to Dermalogica. Yes, those were great as well but Neutrogena is more in my budget and does the same or even better.

Shaving Creme:
EOS ultra moisturizing shave cream - pomegranate raspberry
It’s made with natural aloe, oat, shea butter and antioxidant vitamins E and C to leave your skin looking radiantly healthy. This non-foaming cream boosts skin’s moisture level and keeps it smooth long after you’re done shaving. It’s so moisturizing, you can shave wet or dry. And eos provides a closer shave, even helping to prevent those little razor bumps. Who knows? You might even look forward to shaving. So moisturizing, you can shave wet or dry, leaving skin soft and smooth. Non-foaming cream enriched with natural aloe, oat, and shea butter soothes while boosting skin's moisture level. Antioxidant vitamins E & C help skin look radiantly healthy.
My review: I love love love love love this stuff! I love the smell and I love the bottle. The thing that I hated about shave gels and creams were the bottles they came in. The metal ones would get all rusty from being in the shower or there would be residue around the cap or it would be super difficult to pump or squeeze. With this bottle, theres a nozzle with an easy to push pump and it comes out pretty easily. Also you can use this wet or dry which is my favorite part.

Fave Moisturizer:
Boots No. 7 Protect and Perfect Day Cream
A rich moisturizer that helps fight the signs of aging, smoothes & softens fine dehydration lines. It delivers prolonged moisturization and helps to improve the texture of the skin for a radiant complexion. Contains some of the same key ingredients found in Protect & Perfect (Restore & Renew) Beauty Serum, coupled with fantastic moisturizers to leave skin softer, smoother & younger looking.
My review: Like face washes, I've tried a lot. I tried high end moisturizer to wallet friendly ones. One of my all time favorites is actually from Lancome but as you know Lancome is $$$. Now my go to is Boots No.7 Protect and Perfect Day SPF15. I always want to get a moisturizer with SPF in it. It's extremely important to wear SPF during the day whether is spring, winter, summer or fall. You'll thank me when you're 45 and wrinkles start to show. One thing my mother said to me was "I don't want you to make the same mistakes I did with my skin...so put on SPF!". I hate thick greasy moisturizer that feel like I'm wearing mayo or vasoline. This one is very light and has barely any scent. The scent it does have is very minimal and fresh.

I hope my suggestions and reviews have helped! Cosmetic products to come...

Current Musical Obsession: Fitz and the Trantrums

Fitz and the Tantrums is a soul/pop band from Los Angeles formed in 2008. They were heralded as a "band to watch" in an April 2011 profile in Rolling Stone.

The band consists of Michael Fitzpatrick (lead vocals and keyboards), Noelle Scaggs (vocals and percussion), James King (saxophone, flute, trumpet, and harmonica), Joseph Karnes (bass guitar), Jeremy Ruzumna (keyboards) and John Wicks (drums and percussion). Fitzpatrick has said that the band's musical style can be fairly described as "soul-influenced indie pop".

I've totally been rocking out to them! They are so soulful, cool, and smooth. Fitz and the Tantrums will be playing at Coachella this year...unfortunately Cali that would be the only time to catch them! They were actually just the house band for the 2012 Critics Choice Awards.

Flamingo Electric Hot Pink Lipstick

This was definitely a great trend last spring and I personally think it has lasted. I love the look of the electric hot pink lip that brings us back to the florescent colors and jellies that were the 80s. To me I feel it brings the fun and pop of color to any wardrobe.

My personal fave is long wear liquid lip color by Stila called Caprice. It comes on like a lip stain and is very matte which can be great if thats the mood you're in but also dab some Make Up Forever lab shine lip gloss in Pearly Electric Rose on top or a plain clear lip gloss to give it that extra umph.
Get pink lips with these glosses and lipsticks:

Pout Lip Plump in Forbidden Fruit, $26, victoriassecret.com
Guerlain KissKiss Gloss in Cherry Fizz, $26, sephora.com
Shu Uemura Gloss Lacquer in Radical Fuchsia, $26, shuuerma-usa.com
M.A.C. Lipstick in Rocking Chick, $14, maccosmetics.com
MAC Amplified Creme Lipstick in Show Orchid, $14.50, available at MAC

Oversize Me

Gotta love those days when you can pull on an oversized sweater. I love the fabulous loose fitting knits that can be belted or worn over the shoulder. You can layer an oversized sweater or cardigan over any outfit. They are also great to wear as a dress with funky tights underneath. You can roll up one sleeve or pair it with a flannel underneath with the sleeves rolled. LOVE

Current Musical Obsession: Mackintosh Braun

http://www.mackintoshbraun.com/
I've totally been rocking out to their latest album Where We Are. I love their electronic beats...give me a good beat and I'm hooked! I especially love their b-side track "the same." With their Chop Shop Records debut, Where We Are, Mackintosh Braun establish themselves as a formidable pop duo who blend crisp, sophisticated production with sharp, emotive songwriting. On tracks like the delicate but propulsive “Familiar” and the harmony-filled banger ”Nothing Else Is Real” the Portland, Oregon-based group conjure a cool intimacy that sets them apart from their peers. This is the kind of music you can break a sweat to on the dance floor with a new crush then play the next day to console yourself if they don’t call. “We both wanted to create something exciting and innovative, but that’s also familiar,” explains guitarist/keyboardist /producer Ian Mackintosh. “It has to sound different but it also has to give people something to hold onto. It has to give people hope.”

Oversized Beanies

I love a good light weight oversized slouchy beanie any day of the week. Its adds a pop of color or style to any simple tee shirt and jeans outfit. Or add it to a great oversized sweater and cut offs.Plus if you've worn your hair in a pony all day and its wavy in all the wrong places, through a beanie on and it'll make your kinky waves look great.
I've found great oversized beanies at Urban Outfitters, LF, and Free People.
