Oscars Best Dressed

Overall, not many bright colors on the red carpet last night. Seems like the muted colors won out. White was definitely a color favorite. For me a bright coral dress made my number one.

1. Michelle Williams in Louis Vuitton. It came off as red on camera bur Michelle referred to it more as a coral. She looked absolutely breath taking and the color just pops on her skin tone. Gorg.

2. Rooney Mara in a white Givenchy. I have to say I love the structure of this dress. I think it works so well on her. I loved Cate Blanchett last year at the Oscars in her lavender Givenchy even though many beg to differ, but to me Givenchy is art.

3. Gwyneth Paltrow in A stunning white Tom Ford dress and cape. How can you not love the cape? She looked absolutely stunning and classic in this and the cape just gave it that extra flare.

4. Emma Stone in Giambattista Valli couture gown in bright cerise. For her first Oscars I must say well done! She looked beautiful and yes he bow may be a nod to Nicole Kidman's 2007 gown, both dresses are by no means identical. The cut and shades are very different, if anything the bow was what it had in common. I think it was a bold choice with her red locks but bravo Emma! I loved it.

All Time Best Oscar Dresses

Since I live walking distance to the Kodak Theatre...I'm pretty much locked down for tomorrows festivities. Maybe I'll make my way down there and catch a glimpse at fabulous Hollywood on one of the most high profile nights of the year. Until then, I wanted to share my all time best dressed at the Oscars.

The Cosby Sweater

Who didn't love Heathcliff Huxtable and the famous sweater. There's even a blog out there called The Cosby Sweater Project (http://www.thecosbysweaterproject.com/).

The bigger question is, would you wear a Cosby sweater? It appears that versions of the famous Cosby sweater just might be making their way back onto the fashion forefront. I mean...I'd rock it, but I'd rock anything once. What do you gals think?

Style Obsessed: Gillian Zinser

The new 90210 has nothing on the Kelly, Brenda, and Dylan years but what they do have is Ivy and Gillian Zinser. I would say my style most resembles hers. You have to love her out going, avant grade, eclectic, and daring style both as Ivy Sullivan and herself. I love how bold her look is and it feels so effortless.

Sometimes I put things on and know people are questioning my style but hey at least I try.

Bootie, Bootie, Bootie

I just added another member to my shoe collection: the Steve Madden Pembrook Bootie. Lucky for you, they are currently on sale at stevemadden.com. I purchased the taupe bootie but the shop-a-holic side of me wants of course the leopard and burgundy. I will refrain...this time.

So many great ways to wear them and pretty much all season long. LOVE

Happy Friday! xx

Hey Sally, you're one cool lady...

I tried another pattern from Sally Hansen's Salon Effects and I love it. They are all so fun and although this one slightly reminds me of a cow, I still think its FAB.

What do you think?

Inside My Shoe Closet

I wanted to give you a guys a taste of some of my shoe porn and an inside look into my personal shoe closet and some of my all time favorites. I love shoes and to me the reason why I love them so much is because they can make or break any outfit and most importantly, they always fit. My feet always look great no matter if I'm having a fat day, a bad hair day, or just an overall "I hate how I look" day. Once I put on the right shoe, it always makes me feel better. I think you gals can agree.

Jeffrey Campbell is fierce and over the top at time. That's what I love about him. Don't be afraid to buy that shoe that because "I don't know when I would wear it or with what", if you love it and have the balls to rock it - DO IT!

Check out solestruck.com. They are riding the world of ugly shoes, one pair at a time.

Happy shoe saturday! xx
